New York driver facing DUI charge
A New York driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident in Monroe County.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said around 6 a.m. Sept. 20 police observed a vehicle pass through a steady red light at the intersection of Routes 611 and 196, in Mount Pocono.
A traffic stop was made and the driver identified as Michael Holligan, 43, of Brooklyn. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was taken to the county DUI center. He is facing DUI and the red light violation.
