Lorenzo
Dominic M. Lorenzo, 19, of Lehighton, graduated from Naval Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois, on Dec. 12, 2014, as fireman apprentice. He earned a Pistol Marksman Ribbon and a National Service Defense Ribbon. He completed Battle Stations, an intense training exercise, at the end of the eight weeks of basic training.
After graduation he went to “A” School in Great Lakes and graduated as a hull technician.
He is stationed in Mayport, Florida, and is currently deployed overseas on the USS Farragut (DDG-99), ranked as a fireman.
He will be taking his examination next to become a petty officer third class.
