Deer hit on Route 903, no one injured
No one was hurt in a one-vehicle crash at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said David R. Dechert Jr., 35, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound when a deer ran out in front of the vehicle and he was unable to stop. The collision caused disabling damages to the Tahoe, which needed to be towed from the scene.
