Burglary, theft and mischief incidents

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary, theft from vehicle and criminal mischief incidents.

The break-in occurred at a home along White Church Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The home was entered sometime between noon and 3 p.m. on Sept. 30. Removed was numerous jewelry items. The victim is a 50-year-old female, troopers said.

The theft from vehicle incident occurred at 3198 Route 115, in Chestnuthill Township. A 20-year-old man reported a LG G Pad was removed from his vehicle sometime between 8 and 11 p.m. on Oct. 9.

A resident of Delaware Drive, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, reported that someone removed a concrete lid covering the septic tank of his residence in an attempt to steal the septic pump. The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 8 and 10.

Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
