Mail stolen from Effort mailbox

The theft of mail from an Effort woman's mailbox is being investigated by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

A resident in the 1300 area of Brian Lane in Effort reported the theft occurred sometime between Oct. 3 and 8 a.m. Oct. 4.
