Diamonds, cash stolen in Carbon burglary
State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Carbon County residence last month.
Troopers said a home on Grouse Trail in Penn Forest Township, was entered by forcing open a rear window in the home.
Once inside the suspects removed various types of jewelry including three diamond rings and a diamond heart necklace from a dresser in the victim's bedroom. They also took about $1,000 in cash from an envelope in the bedroom.
The incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m . on Sept. 24 and 11:22 a.m. on Sept. 25.
