Casey is qualified for clerk of courts

In the Schuylkill County clerk of courts race, Maria Casey is the only qualified candidate for the position. After years of turbulent management, the office is in need of serious restructuring to correct the "inadequate internal controls" in the clerk of courts office.

Throughout her career, Maria has had the rare opportunity to gain extraordinary private and public sector experience. As a practicing attorney and legal counsel to several Schuylkill County businesses, she was able to gain insight of the efficient management of private organizations. As the first assistant district attorney, Maria took that experience and made the district attorney's office leaner and more cost-effective.

Maria Casey brought efficiency to the administrative functions of the district attorney's office, and she will do the same as clerk of courts, while having a deep understanding of the county's legal system.
