Support Miller for Coroner

Published October 28. 2015 04:00PM

On Nov. 3, the voters of Carbon County will be electing a new county coroner. I am sure the individuals on the ballot are well-known intelligent individuals, but it is also important to understand their level of experience and qualifications. Experience and qualifications are very important since the residents of this county deserve quality service.

On Election Day, I will be supporting one candidate, Robert W. Miller Jr.

"Bobby" as everyone knows him, is the experienced, professional fit for the office. He has been a deputy coroner in Carbon County for 27 years and has worked for coroners Phil Jefferies and Bruce Nalesnik. His professional and medical background certainly qualifies him for this challenging role.

His entire family was raised in Carbon County, and he has helped the community to become a better place to live. His medical career includes a degree from Drexel University, an EMT for 43 years, and a founder of the Mahoning Valley Ambulance, the only remaining rural ambulance corps in the country.

I have known Bob for over 20 years and know he is always professional in whatever he does. He is very thorough and has gained the respect and trust of the Pennsylvania State Police, local police, district attorney and medical and firefighting personnel.

I hope you will join me in supporting Mr. Miller and voting for him in the upcoming election for Carbon County coroner.
