The Strawberry Playhouse opens 12th season
The Strawberry Playhouse will open its 12th season with "A Little Bit of Country and A Little Bit of Rock and Roll" featuring D'Lite Side with David Marchetti at the keyboard and lead vocalist Lucille Fala-Brennan, owner and partner of the Strawberry Playhouse.
Shows will be at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19 and 2 p.m. Sept. 20.
An intimate cabaret style setting gives this show an up close and casual feel.
The playhouse will be offering complimentary coffee, tea and soda. Assorted sweets will be available for purchase.
Special guests will include Rick Lorady and Jenna McBreen.
Lorady, who is known throughout the area for his Dean Martin style, is the owner of Rickelodeon Entertainment. He has brought back some of the music of the'40s, '50s and '60s to delight audiences throughout the Schuylkill County area.
McBreen has charmed audiences in Schuylkill, Carbon and Lehigh counties, as well as Philadelphia, with her beautiful voice and great stage presence.
Falé-Brennan, a New York born actress and vocalist, is also a co-host of the radio talk show Curtain Call Chit Chat on WMGH Magic 105.5.
