Coaldale man cited for drunkenness
A Coaldale man was cited by Tamaqua police after an incident on Aug. 30.
Police were dispatched to Center Street at 3:10 a.m. for a possible fight in progress. At the scene they spoke with two men who said Ryan McFadden, 34, of 238 W. Ridge St., had been banging his head off a railing at the Tamaqua Diner. There was fresh blood on the hand rail.
McFadden was located walking on Center Street. He told officers he was upset about an earlier incident, involving a female, at the Pine Street Pub.
He refused medical assistance and was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
