New Ringgold woman facing new charges
A New Ringgold woman was arrested by Tamaqua police on Sept. 8, in connection with an outstanding warrant, and had additional charges filed against her.
An officer on patrol at 1:55 p.m. saw Allison Jade Sanders, 36, of 80 Pine Hill Road, walking in the area of North Railroad Street. The officer was aware of a warrant for her arrest so he stopped to pick her up. Before transporting her to the prison the officer conducted a search and found an orange syringe, a spoon with residue, a small black rubber band, three cotton swabs, two pills marked 2064V3 and a wax packet with a powdery substance.
She was arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bail was set at $10,000 percentage. She was then transported to the Schuylkill County prison in Pottsville.
