New Tripoli man crashes his vehicle
Matthew R. Lindtner, 26, of New Tripoli, was cited for a Motor Vehicle Code violation after he crashed his 2004 Dodge Neon at 2:05 a.m. Aug. 8 on Route 100 in Lowhill Township.
State police at the Fogelsville barracks said he was northbound when he failed to negotiate a turn in the roadway about 98 feet south of Kistler Road because he was distracted trying to change the radio station in the car.
The car left the roadway and struck two signs and a utility pole located in a grassy area on the east shoulder of the road.
The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene. Lindtner was not injured.
