Man assaulted outside gas station
State police in Fern Ridge are investigating an assault of a 30-year-old man from Effort at the BP Gas Station in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township.
Police said the incident happened at 7 p.m. Aug. 10 when the victim was approached by three unknown suspects on the side of the station, located off Route 209, and one of them struck him in the head with a black handgun.
