Albrightsville man facing DUI charges

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said an Albrightsville man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and other related traffic offenses following a vehicle stop at 1:45 a.m. Sept. 5 on Route 903 at the Penn-Kidder Elementary School in Kidder Township.

Police said Stephen Kurus, 48, was arrested following a traffic stop.

During the investigation, police said he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and transported to the Monroe County DUI Center for chemical testing. The results are pending.
