Schuylkill woman injured in crash

A Schuylkill County woman was injured and flown to a medical facility following a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred along Route 443 (Deturksville Road) in Washington Township.

Troopers said Sarah E. Harring, 28, of Tremont, was eastbound while Shawn M. Nolt, 21, of Bernville, Berks County, was westbound.

Troopers said Harring entered the westbound lane and struck Nolt's 1990 Peterbilt truck tractor with her 2000 Dodge Durango.

After impact the Durango spun counterclockwise back across the eastbound lane and off onto the berm, where it came to rest facing north.

The truck continued westbound and came to rest along the eastbound lane.

Harring was flown to the Hershey Medical Center. Nolt was not injured. The investigation into the crash is continuing.
