Driver facing DUI after crash

Nesquehoning police were called to a location on West Catawissa Street at 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday for a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a truck. When officers arrived on scene they found the driver of the vehicle, Matthew Coughlin, of 218 Center St., unconscious. Coughlin had struck the parked truck. It appeared he was under the influence and was taken for a blood test for a controlled substances. Charges are pending.
