Carbon resident arrested in Lehigh
An inspection of a motor carrier stopped in Lehigh County led to the arrest of the driver and passenger, who is a Carbon County resident. State police at Fogelsville said the stop occurred at 7:19 a.m. Tuesday along Route 100 north at Schantz Road, in Upper Macungie Township.
Troopers said during the stop a check of the national data center revealed the driver, Harry Stahl, of Nazareth was wanted out of Indiana.
A check of the passenger, Tonya Napolitano of Nesquehoning, revealed she was also wanted out of Indiana.
A further check also revealed an active warrant for her in Carbon County. Both were placed in the county prison in Allentown on the warrants, troopers said.
A detainer was also filed against Napolitano by Carbon officials.
