Man cited after diner disturbance
Tamaqua Police have cited Vincent M. Davis, 45, of 12 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, in connection with a disturbance at the Tamaqua Diner on April 1.
A diner employee called police at 1:31 a.m. to report a man was causing problems with other patrons.
Officers spoke to Davis, who was visibly intoxicated, loud and argumentative.
Davis said he was upset because someone called him a racial slur. After speaking with all the parties involved, Davis agreed to calm down and was allowed back inside the diner.
Before officers could leave the scene, Davis again became disruptive.
He was removed from the scene and taken home.
He was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
