Three injured in Schuylkill crash
Three people sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday along Route 183 in Cressona borough.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Elizabeth A. Lyons, 77, of Pine Grove, and Shannon L. Morgan, 32, of Saint Clair, were both northbound when Morgan stopped due to traffic ahead of her. Lyons did not see Morgan stopping. The front of Lyons' 2006 Chevrolet Colorado struck the rear of Morgan's 2006 Volkswagen Golf.
Lyons, and her passenger, Danielle Shobe, 51, of Pine Grove, and Morgan were all taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson Street, Pottsville.
Troopers cited Lyons for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
