Hit-and-run driver sought in Schuylkill

State police at Frackville are looking for the driver of a vehicle that left a Schuylkill County road and crashed into a culvert, embankment and fencing.

Troopers said the incident was reportedon Peach Drive in East Brunswick Township. Troopers said a vehicle was traveling northbound when the driver lost control and struck a concrete culvert and an embankment along the east berm. The vehicle then re-entered the road and crashed through a pasture fence and wooden posts.

The driver was unable to find a way to drive out of the pasture so he crashed through another section of the fencing and wooden posts to get back onto the road.

Troopers said the hit-and-run vehicle will be missing its driver's door mirror and a piece of its grille/spoiler. The incident occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
