Tamaqua woman cited for threatening texts

Victoria Schmitt, 41, of 29 E. Elm St., Tamaqua, was cited by Tamaqua police on July 29 after she repeatedly sent threatening text messages to another woman. The threats included the use of a baseball bat and the intention to kill.

Schmitt was cited for harassment.
