Police investigate burglary, theft

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a burglary and two theft incidents.

The break-in occurred at a residence along Spencer Lane in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Someone forced open a window into a crawl space. Nothing was taken, but two windows were damaged. The incident occurred sometime between June 4 and July 29. The home is owned by a Carlstadt, New Jersey, resident.

Two tires were stolen from a dolly at the Getz Storage parking lot in East Side Borough, Carbon County. The theft occurred sometime between July 31 and Aug. 2.

A filter and motor from the display of a pool was taken from outside A&J Pools, located on Route 115, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The theft occurred Aug. 4.
