Results of special details by police

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on two special details performed by plain clothes officers recently.

Beginning on July 26 and ending July 30 plain clothes officers were at the carnival in Mount Pocono and Bill's ShopRite Plaza as part of the liquor control board state grant. During the time span officers made 14 arrests which included five for possession of marijuana cases, one possession of heroin, one possession of cocaine, two underage drinking, one furnishing alcohol, one attempted car theft, one possession of drug paraphernalia and two public drinking.

During July 29 and 30 at the Pocono Raceway another detail was conducted in which officers made four underage drinking arrests, two for disorderly conduct and one for public drunkenness.
