The Most Excellent Order of Sir Paul to perform Saturday
The music of Rock 'n' Roll's greatest living legend is celebrated by The Most Excellent Order of Sir Paul, the Ultimate Paul McCartney Concert Experience, at 8 p.m. on Saturday,at the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe.
The All-Star band delights die-hard fans of Paul McCartney and The Beatles, and features original cast members of Broadway's "Beatlemania!," along with other veterans of Broadway stages, studios, international tours.
The band includes Lenie Colacino as the original Paul from "Beatlemania!" on the Broadway stage, as actor, singer, voice artist and Hofner-endorsed left-handed bass player. He is joined by Joe Pecorino, who originated the role of John Lennon in "Beatlemania!," and is the former musical director of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch."
The Most Excellent Order of Sir Paul delivers a powerful, note-for-note performance featuring some of the most iconic music ever recorded, bringing audiences to their feet and cheering for more with songs like "Maybe I'm Amazed," "Back in the USSR," "Penny Lane," "Jet," "Hey Jude," "Rocky Raccoon," and "Let It Be."
