John and Kathleen Spirk
John and Kathleen Spirk are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this month.
The couple was married on Aug. 14, 1976, at Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Trachsville. They met at Bloomsburg University and have been going strong ever since.
John and Kathy are lifelong residents of Bowmanstown and are enjoying their retirement years together by exploring around the states in their RV.
They also enjoy family time with their two children, Megan Spirk of Boulder, Colorado, and Matthew Spirk and his wife Nicole of Bethlehem and baby-sitting their two adorable grandchildren, Callie and Colin.
