Police investigate theft of $2,000
State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of $2,000 in cash from a residence in the 200 block ofRuby Court in Ross Township.
Police said they were called to the residence on Thursdayand learned the victim's son may be withholding information about to the stolen money, which led the victim to refuse to cooperate.
