Tamaqua woman cited in minor crash

A Tamaqua woman was cited after a minor rear-end collision on West Broad Street in Tamaqua on Aug. 15.

Nicole Hazlett, 23, of Market Street, Tamaqua, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet when she failed to stop for traffic, striking the rear bumper of a 2009 Mazda. The incident happened at 4:13 p.m.

Hazlett was cited as she did not have a valid driver's license, only a learner's permit. There wasn't a licensed driver in the car with her.
