Driver leaves scene of I-81 hit-and-run

State police at Frackville said a driver fled the scene of a crash on Interstate 81 in Delano Township at 7:05 p.m. Dec. 19.

Police said an unknown vehicle traveling south on the interstate struck the rear bumper of a 2013 Ford Focus operated by Kenneth K. Foster, 34, of Drums.

Police said Foster was traveling southbound and applied his brakes.

The vehicle hit his car from behind and the driver fled the scene.

Foster and an 8-year-old girl who was his passenger were not injured. Another passenger, a 10-year-old girl sustained minor injuries, police said.
