LCCC to host multimedia tribute to Dr. King
Lehigh Carbon Community College will offer an inspiring tribute to the life and teaching of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 6 p.m. Jan. 16 with the presentation of "King's Dream."
Dr. King received the Nobel Peace Prize and led African Americans in the struggle for social change and racial equality for all people in the 1960s. His life will be documented in this presentation by Key Arts Productions from Philadelphia.
The show includes captivating film footage, insightful commentary and live musical performances, capturing the spirit of the civil rights movement.
The performance will be held in the Lisa Scheller and Wayne Woodman Community Services Center, at LCCC's main campus in Schnecksville.
