Attains dean's list

James J. Sverchek of Lehighton was notified that he has attained the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of Pittsburgh, earning a 3.80 for the semester.

James is a senior in the Swanson School of Engineering studying civil and environmental engineering.

James also continues to maintain his honor student ranking in the engineering school. He is currently a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Engineers Without Borders and the Pittsburgh Chapter of Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success.

James is currently seeking a permanent position in civil engineering in the Pittsburgh area upon his graduation in April 2017.

James is the son of Mark and Anne Sverchek of Lehighton and the grandson of the late John and Veronica Sverchek of Lansford and William and Anna Corkill of Jim Thorpe.
