Andreas man charged with theft

A Schuylkill County man has been charged with several counts of retail theft.

Mahoning Township Police Department said that Christopher Wolfe, 42, of Andreas, has been charged with two counts of retail theft, a misdemeanor, for thefts at Walmart.

Police said Wolfe committed the first theft at 1:56 p.m. Jan. 18, at which time he stole $44.95, and the other at 2:41 p.m. Jan. 21, when he stole $186.62.

Preliminary hearings for both offenses are scheduled for Feb. 24.
