Auto crash suits
The following two actions seeking damages were filed as the result of automobile accidents.
Gabrielle M. Alban, 554 Franklin Ave., Palmerton, filed against Robert E. Ehret III, 1492 W. Lizard Creek Road, Lehighton.
The suit states on Aug. 25, 2014, a crash occurred about 2 p.m. at the intersection of Fifth Street and Alley F in Palmerton. The suit alleges a vehicle operated by the defendant failed to yield the right of way to the plaintiff and a collision occurred. The plaintiff alleges negligence and is seeking damages for injuries sustained and detailed in the suit. Sought is damages in excess of $50,000 plus interest, costs and fees.
Dorothy Meinhart, 84 Jamestown Drive, Lehighton, filed suit against Ryan Hoffman, Eric D. Hoffman and Brenda Hoffman, all of 149 Railroad St., Weatherly.
The suit states on Dec. 15, 2015, a crash occurred along Route 209 in Lehighton. Ryan Hoffman was driving a vehicle owned by Eric D. and Brenda Hoffman, when it collided into a vehicle driven by Meinhart. Negligence is alleged for injuries sustained and detailed in the suit. Sought are damages in excess of $50,000 plus interest, costs and fees.

Bill owed
Tarmac Corporation, 7330 Tulip St., Philadelphia, a business involved in leasing and selling dishwashers, restaurant maintenance equipment and supplies, filed a complaint against Jose Garcia, doing business as Siros Italian Restaurant, 623 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.
The suit states the parties entered into a three-year lease for dishwashing and restaurant equipment, which was subject to automatic renewal or 60 days notice of cancellation. The suit states a bill is owed for services provided. Sought is $659.85 plus the remaining amount on the lease agreement, or $6,609.85 plus interest, costs and fees.
