Burglary in Lynn Township under investigation
A burglary that took place last week at a Lehigh County home remains under investigation.
State police at Fogelsville said the incident occurred at 12:31 p.m. when the suspect forced entry into a residence in the 6100 block of Donats Peak Road in Lynn Township, by prying a window open.
The suspect rummaged through multiple dresser drawers, closets and cabinets, searching for items of value.
The suspect then fled the scene.
The total amount stolen from the residence of the victim, a 73-year-old female from Kempton, has yet to be determined, pending the victim's return to the residence.
A suspicious light-colored SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee, was observed driving through the area.
Upon responding to the scene, numerous shoe impressions left in the wet snow were recovered.
