Family Dollar robbery remains under investigation
A robbery at a Family Dollar Store on Feb. 3in Monroe County remains under investigation.
Pocono Mountain Regional Police were dispatched at 10 p.m. to the store, located in Carriage Square, Coolbaugh Township.
The employees reported two people wearing masks forced their way into the store while an employee was closing.
Once inside, the suspects tied up three employees with bungee cords and removed an undisclosed amount of money from the safe.
Both suspects then fled the store.
Once the employees freed themselves, 911 was called and police arrived.
Police are continuing their investigation.
