Theft investigated in Effort
A burglary incident that took place in Monroe County last month remains under investigation.
State police at Fern Ridge said that sometime between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m. Jan. 31, a burglary occurred at Gooseberry Drive in Chestnuthill Township.
The suspect removed various items, which included prescription medications, jewelry, clothing and old cellphones from the residence of the victim, a 39-year-old woman from Effort.
