Man arrested on outstanding warrants

A Tamaqua man was arrested on outstanding warrants after he turned up in Summit Hill.

According to Summit Hill police, Brett Rodriguez, 37, of 350 W. Rowe St., was at 407 Lansford Court just before 10:30 a.m. Jan. 28. Police received a call from a person saying Rodriguez was not welcome at the home.

Upon arrival, officers saw Rodriguez standing outside the residence. A female at the home then told police that she didn't want him there.

While on scene, officers learned that Rodriguez also had warrants out for his arrest.

He was arraigned and taken to Carbon County Correctional Facility.
