Man charged with theft from ShopRite
A Monroe County man has been charged with retail theft after an incident at the Kinsley's ShopRite in Chestnuthill Township last month.
State police at Fern Ridge said that on Jan. 8, Kenneth John DeRose, 32, of Brodheadsville, was caught leaving the store with $591 worth of groceries in a shopping cart.
DeRose did not make any attempts to pay for the items before leaving the store.
He was arrested and taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing.
