Pottsville man charged with harassment
A Schuylkill County man has been charged with harassment of SPCA employees.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said between 10 a.m. Nov. 2 and 11:25 a.m. Nov. 7at 51 SPCA Road, North Manheim Township. The Hillside SPCA received about 36 phone calls on two separate days from Arthur Johns, 58, of Centre Street, Pottsville.
The man was playing music and demanding his dog back.
Johns was told the SPCA did not have his dog, and he was warned by state police to stop calling the SPCA or he would be arrested.
Johns said, "Come and get me."
