Admitted to bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Lauren Marie Moyer graduated cum laude from Villanova University School of Law in May and was recently admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is the daughter of Joseph and Melanie Moyer of Hometown and the granddaughter of Adele Lech of Coaldale and Mary Moyer of Tamaqua.
While at Villanova Law, Lauren volunteered at the Face to Face Germantown's Birth Certificate Clinic, where she assisted low-income Philadelphians in obtaining copies of their birth certificates - often needed for employment. Lauren received the Dorothy Day Award for her exemplary pro bono service.
Following her first year of law school, Lauren worked as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Anthony Urban, P.C., in Pottsville. Following her second year of law school, Lauren began working as a law clerk at Zarwin, Baum, DeVito, Kaplan, Schaer, Toddy, P.C., in Philadelphia.
Upon graduation, Lauren accepted a position as an associate in Zarwin Baum's Insurance Defense Department. She is also a member of the Schuylkill County Bar Association.
In 2012, Lauren graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University School of Business, where she was a Curvey Scholar. She was the salutatorian of the Marian Catholic Class of 2008 and attended St. Jerome Regional School in Tamaqua.
