Lower Towamensing burglary investigated

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 3:30 p.m. Feb. 5 and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at a residence on the 300 block of Spring Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said someone forcibly entered the residence through a side basement door. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the interior of the home and stole two high-end bicycles, a guitar and a jar containing about $60 in loose change.
