Police investigate theft in Monroe

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of a DeWalt grinder that was taken from a vehicle parked at a residence on Weir Mountain Road in Gilbert, Monroe County.

Police said someone entered the unlocked vehicle that was parked in the victim's driveway. The theft was reported at 2:30 a.m. Feb. 7.
