Hit-and-run crash in Schuylkill

A hit-and-run crash is under investigation in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the incident occurred at 154 Long Row Road in Gilberton borough. Troopers said a vehicle caused damage to the entire passenger side of a 1967 Buick LeSabre, which was parked in front of the residence.

The vehicle is owned by William Griffiths of Gilberton. The driver of the striking vehicle then fled the scene. The hit-and-run vehicle should have damage to its passenger side. The incident occurred sometime during the overnight hours of Monday into Tuesday.
