Mahanoy break-in
State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at the Schuylkill Historical Fire Society storage facility at 11 East End Road in Mahanoy Township.
Troopers said a wooden entry door at the building, which is a former cigar factory near the former White Owl Manor nursing home, was pried open. However, nothing appears to have been taken, troopers said, with only damages to the door.
The incident occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Monday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300 or the historical society at 570-462-4400.
