Liens filed

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Revenue, has filed a lien against the following:

Pet Store Universe Inc., 450 Interchange Road, Lehighton, judgment is in the amount of $1,211.18, seeking a return of sales use and hotel occupancy taxes and employer withholding taxes.

MRH Services LLC, 332 Fairyland Road, Lehighton, judgment is in the amount of $652.96, seeking a return of employer withholding taxes.

Daisy Valdez, 29 Broadway, Jim Thorpe, judgment is in the amount of $8,015.01, seeking a return of sales use and hotel occupancy taxes.

Thomas E. Harker Jr., 255 E. Railroad St., Nesquehoning, judgment is in the amount of $2,264.82, seeking a return of personal income taxes.

Tyrone Balliet, 909 Charles St., Palmerton, judgment is in the amount of $528.97, seeking a return of personal income taxes.

Edmond S. Wasilewski, 196 Smith Road, Jim Thorpe, judgment is in the amount of $5,950.47, seeking a return of personal income taxes.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry, to the use of the Unemployment Compensation Fund, has filed liens against the following:

Jared J. Hoffman, trading as All Points Towing Recovery and Service Center, 136 Smith Road, Jim Thorpe, judgment is in the amount of $3,183.66, seeking a return of employer and withholding taxes.

VK Bridal Couture Inc., 252 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, judgment is in the amount of $1,772.20, seeking a return of employer and withholding taxes.

Credit card defaults

Discover Bank, New Albany, Ohio, has filed a credit card default complaint against David L. Leo, 30 Tennyson Circle, Albrightsville.

Judgment in the amount of $9,564.33, plus costs, is sought.

The Bank of America N.A., Philadelphia, has filed a credit card default complaint against Sherry L. Smith, 3860 Long Run Road, Lehighton.

Judgment in the amount of $18,654.26, plus costs, is sought.

The Bank of America N.A., Philadelphia, has filed a credit card default complaint against Randall W. Bloom, 817 Iron St., Lehighton.

Judgment in the amount of $11,373.54, plus costs, is sought.

Transcripts of judgment

Midland Funding LLC, Essington, has placed on record a judgment ordered in its behalf by Magisterial District Judge William J. Kissner, Palmerton.

The defendant is Steven Tirpak, 432 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton. The judgment is in the amount of $499.18.

Heller's Gas, Berwick, has placed on record a judgment ordered in its behalf by Magisterial District Judge Russell L. Lawton of Bloomsburg.

The defendants are Little Paisans Pizza and Al Frankino, Easton, Williams Township. The defendant's last known residence is 257 Spring Hill Road, Lehighton. The judgment is in the amount of $265.80.

Hospital bill unpaid

The Remit Corporation, Bloomsburg, as an assignee of the Blue Mountain Health System, has filed a civil action against John J. Diemma, 286 90 Lower Nis Hollow Drive, Lehighton, seeking payment of a hospital bill the plaintiff states is outstanding.

The complaint states Diemma received medical treatment, services and/or supplies at the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, from Aug. 18 to Nov. 11, 2014, and contends the defendant violated three counts of the law, breach of contract, breach of implied contract and unjust enrichment, by not paying the bill.

Judgment in the amount of $13,089, plus interest and costs, is sought.

Mortgage foreclosure

Nationstar Mortgage LLC, Coppell, Texas, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Barbara Daniels, 215 Palm Drive, Palmerton, John Lynn Jr., Phillipsburg, New Jersey, and Michael Lynn, James Lynn and Valerie Angst, all of Nazareth, known heirs of John A. Lynn Sr., and unknown surviving heirs, over a property at 215 Palm Drive.

The complaint seeks judgment in the amount of $146,733.58, plus interest, attorney's fees and costs.
