No injuries reported in Schuylkill crash

No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 11:25 a.m. on Tuesday along Cressona Road in the borough of Cressona, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Alfredas Baromas, 46, of Joliet, Illinois, was driving a 2015 Ford Transit van northbound when the vehicle drifted onto the berm and through some snow. The van struck multiple guide rail posts and then the guide rail. The van came to rest in the northbound lane facing east.

Damages were termed significant to the van, which was towed from the scene. Baromas was cited for the crash.
