Woman cited for causing disturbance

Tamaqua police have cited Corey Lynn Matalavage, 35, of 146B Owl Creek Road, Tamaqua, in connection with a trespassing incident on Jan. 31.

Matalavage went to a home at 106 Greenwood St. at 5:22 p.m. where she caused a disturbance.

The resident told police she had warned Matalavage to stay away from her home two days before the incident.

Instead, Matalavage came to the home, banged on the door and yelled and screamed when she wasn't allowed entry.

Matalavage was removed from the premises and cited for defiant trespass and disorderly conduct.
