Hit-run driver being sought

A tractor-trailer operator is being sought in connection with a hit-and-run incident that occurred along Interstate 81 in Kline Township, Schuylkill County, at 11:37 a.m. on Wednesday.

State police at Frackville said a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado was being operated southbound in the right lane when the driver attempted to pass a tractor-trailer rig in front of him. As the driver moved his vehicle into the left lane the truck driver swerved into the left lane with the rear trailer portion hitting the front of the Silverado. After impact the truck driver continued southbound.

Troopers said the Silverado driver, who they did not identify, attempted to get the license plate number on the trailer but could not. No one was injured.
