Man assaulted on New Year's Day

A Schuylkill County man reported he was assaulted New Year's Day.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 26-year-old Saint Clair man reported four people robbed him of his wallet, driver's license, Social Security card, access card, winter coat and other clothing. He said the incident occurred at 4:45 p.m. in the area of the Collins Street bridge in Pottsville. Gregory's glasses were also broken during the assault. Gregory said the four people were a black male and three white females.
