Nesquehoning woman faces DUI, drug counts
Rush Township police are preparing to file charges against a Nesquehoning woman after receiving results of blood tests taken on Nov. 27.
Justine Simon, 40, was stopped on Mahanoy Avenue at 12:45 a.m. for several traffic violations. Due to her appearance and actions, she was transported to the hospital for blood tests. The results indicate she had six different types of drugs in her system, including heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine.
She will be charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic-related offenses.
