Facebook identity theft investigated

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an identity theft incident in Monroe County.

Troopers said a 15-year-old Chestnuthill Township male gained access to the Facebook account of another 15-year-old male from Chestnuthill Township and sent messages to the victim's Facebook contacts. The incident occurred between Jan. 3-4. The incident is still under investigation.
